Shepley House Services
Who is the service for?
There are two main services managed by the Shepley House team plus 3 move-on flats. The services are for single homeless women aged 16 – 60 years and for young people (men & women) 16 – 25 years. Both services can accommodate people with a wide range of support needs.
Some service users will have moved on from another scheme such as Spring Street, to Cheetham St, although most are either agency referrals for someone who is homeless or about to be homeless and self referrals

How do the schemes differ?

There are 10 self-contained flats for women aged 16 to 60. The scheme has a communal lounge and a laundry. |

There are 12 flats in one block. They offer self contained accommodation and support to single young people. |

There are 3 flats in one block. They offer self contained accommodation and support to single women aged 16 – 60 years who are usually moving on from Shepley House. |
What is the accommodation like?
All of the accommodation is self-contained one bedroom flats. Shepley House is fully furnished. Cheetham Street and Oldham Road are part furnished, with a cooker, fridge, carpets and curtains. There is a weekly service charge at Shepley House for cooking, heating and lighting. Service Users pay for their own utilities at Cheetham Street and Oldham Road.
When are staff available?
Threshold staff are available extended office hours during the week and for a limited time over the weekend. A security firm will attend if there is a building emergency at other times.
