Service Users from Stamford Villa were treated to a fabulous outdoor pursuits course at Lockerbrook Outdoor Activity Centre, thanks to their successful application for Youth Opportunity funding.

Five Service Users attended a two day course at Lockerbrook, which is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

During their stay, all five got involved with a number of outdoor activities, including rock climbing, long distance cycling and an adrenalin pumping night-time abseil !

The Service Users thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Lockerbrook, which organises outdoor activity courses for young people throughout the UK

More news 23 April 2008

Two service users Victor and Osvaldo were successful again at the Homeless World Cup trials at Manchester United on the 16th April. They are now due back for the next trials on the 14th May again at Manchester United. There are now only 33 people left in the competition out of the whole country so its a massive achievement for them to get so far. The final squad will be trimmed to approx 12 - 15 and that will be the team that travels to Australia to represent us in the finals.

Below are some of our pictures from the Your Game event
