Great Moves Oldham - generic needs
Threshold runs a range of supported housing services under contract with Oldham Council. The services enable vulnerable people with support needs to attain and maintain independent housing.
Key aims are the prevention of social exclusion, homelessness, and crime amongst vulnerable households, and the development of the skills and community links needed to build successful lives, including access to better health care, education and employment.
All referrals to supported housing are managed through a new Central Access Point (CAP). This is based at the One Point Housing Options Centre managed by First Choice Homes. This enables a person's full range of housing options and support to be considered in a ‘one stop’ service.
The application form for supported housing should be sent to the CAP. Contact details are on the form.
The CAP should acknowledge all referrals within one working day of receipt. If you submit an application and it is not acknowledged within this timescale, please contact the CAP in the first instance.
If this you need further help (as the service is in its pilot period) contact the Threshold service hub direct.
