Dozens sleep rough in Oldham to raise money for tenancy packs at #OldhamSleepOut

Volunteers from charities, housing associations and Oldham Council braved bursts of rain and low temperatures to sleep rough in Oldham last night.
The 'sleep out' hosted by Threshold, DePaul UK and Oldham Council was in aid of Inside Out - a service providing essential tenancy equipment for newly housed homeless people.
Donations are still pouring in, with over £1,385 raised from the JustGiving page alone.
Jason McKenna, event organiser said: "In wet and cold weather, 28 volunteers slept out last night so that others don't have to. Funds raised will go directly into basic bedding, cooking, cleaning and other essentials to provide vulnerable people with a vital lifeline."
Volunteers are continuing to gather donations and collect sponsorship money to reach their £3,000 target.
