Manchester Interim Mayor, Tony Lloyd, visits Great Moves Tameside

Tony Lloyd Visit

On the 16th of December Tony Lloyd and Jim Battle a member of his team visited Great Moves Tameside and met with staff and customers of the service. They spent time listening to customers experiences of homelessness. This is what customers had to say;

“I’d be back in trouble with the law and in prison if it wasn’t for this place and the staff”

“My depression and anxiety would’ve gotten worse, if I did not have a safe place to stay”

They were impressed by the services we deliver and we hope to meet them again in the near future. Tony and his team were given an information leaflet on the day which included further information around what customers felt about the service, the leaflet is available here.
