Threshold celebrates Group rise to number 7 in Best Companies index

New Charter's Ian Munro and Jane Blackburn accept the award
Threshold staff have been enjoying celebratory cake after the New Charter Housing Trust Group, to which Threshold belongs, was announced as the country’s seventh best employer.

New Charter reached number 7 in the 2014 Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-For-Profit Companies To Work For poll, as voted for by employees, jumping from number 10 since last year’s survey.

It is the fifth year running that it has been ranked in the top 20.  It also retained the top three stars in the Best Companies survey – a Michelin-style rating system for public and voluntary sector companies based on feedback from employees.

The three stars is a stamp of excellence recognising the New Charter Group as an ‘extraordinary’ company to work for.
