Threshold's Spring Villa Football Team Make Great Achievements!

Spring Villa

We are pleased to report some fantastic progress from the Threshold’s SpringVilla football team. Jordan, Moyheddin, and Andrew are three players fromTameside have recently moved into their own homes. Although they have moved on they have managed to attend training every week at the Pitz in Ardwick. They have shown great dedication to stay connected to the football programme and give a commitment to the team.

Maggie, Paige, Kieran, Bailey, Steven, Jason and Michael from Great Moves Oldham are also taking part in regular training sessions at Oldham Leisure Centre.

The team recently showcased their skills in a Rio Ferdinand tournament just before Christmas in 2015. Other teams and local agencies who attended the tournament were hugely impressed the way Threshold’s SpringVilla team conducted themselves. Though they did not quite win it this time they showed great team spirit and remained positive to come back stronger for next time.
